05.01.07 'In The Bag' Arts Promo
Today Serious Feather is very happy to have completed a promo shoot for Valerie Clarke’s ‘In The Bag’ visual arts project and exhibition at the Waterside Arts Centre in Sale, Manchester.
The arts project itself involves a group of 15 visual artists each being given an ‘unknown’ shopping artefact from which they are to then create and complete an arts piece over a three month period. Completed work will then form part of a final exhibition at the Lauriston Gallery in June 2008.
It is hoped that the completed DVD will be distributed to inform and inspire other community arts groups around the country to stage similar creative events.
Great thanks to the time, talents and work ethic of Gemma Morton (Presenter / Production Assistant) and Ann-Marie Lawrence (Production Assistant / Logger).
