
Brett Gregory
Head of Creative Development
Brett is a highly-motivated screenwriter, director and producer who has successfully lectured in Film, Media and Cultural Studies at South Trafford College for the past 3 years. He is also Manchester’s sole representative of Future Shorts, the world’s premier distributor and exhibitor of short films.
With a B.A. (Hons) in Film, Television and Literature and an M.A. in Narrative, he specialises in domestic drama, crime drama, psychological thriller, horror, educational and community films. As well as various entertainment promos and educational projects, previous productions have included the short films My First Winter (2006), Hit The North (2007) and Tunnel Monkeys (2007).
Nic Jackson
Head of Technical Development
Nic is a young and dynamic director of photography who is currently studying Media Production at Salford University.
With over 20 productions under his belt, including projects for the BBC, MacDonald’s, Lenor and LG Screens, he is skilled and experienced with a wide-range production equipment; for example, the Sony PD150, PD170 and Z1, Canon XL1 and XL2, Sony DSR150, Digital SLR; lighting kits ranging from ARRI to Kino Flo; sound kits; Grip (track, dolly, etc.); Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sony Vegas, Apple Final Cut Pro.
Chris Lane
Head of Corporate Development
Chris is a young, diligent and ambitious business manager who helped establish Serious Feather Productions as a limited company in early 2007.
After graduating from the University of Cumbria in 2005, he further developed his approach to finance and accountancy by working with a number of highly-respected firms in the Greater Manchester region, such as Co-op Bank, Harold Sharp Accountancy, the General Medical Council and Bankhall Associates.
